Our Story

Plates was born from a lifelong fascination with food and a deep appreciation for nature, flavour and sustainable craft. Siblings Kirk and Keeley Haworth brought these passions together to create something new in hospitality – a way of showing how expressive, surprising and versatile food can be, both on and off the plate.

What began as a plant-based restaurant in London has grown into a rural sanctuary in southwest France, where that same creative spirit now shapes every stay, every meal and every moment at the farm.

A cozy restaurant corner with two tables, each set with cutlery and a yellow candle. Sunlight streams through a large window with beige curtains, illuminating the yellow upholstered bench seating along the wall and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

While Kirk leads the kitchen at the UK’s first plant-based Michelin-starred restaurant, Keeley and her husband, Matt, have made Plates Farm their home alongside their daughter, Margaux. Together, they open their doors and invite you to share in the Plates experience – a place where nature, creativity and slow living come together.

The Food

The Plates philosophy,
reimagined

The surrounding fields, orchards and gardens are tended with the same respect as the kitchen. Herbs, vegetables and fruit grown here often make their way to the tables of our guests. The land nourishes everything we do, reminding us that true luxury is grounded in simplicity.

Food is the heartbeat of Plates Farm. Rooted in the Plates approach to culinary creativity, every meal celebrates seasonality and place.

From fine dining evenings to foraging walks and cooking workshops, each experience invites you to reconnect with what you eat – and where it comes from.

The Vision

A place to rest,
reconnect and create

Plates Farm is a continuation of a family journey: to nurture a space where people can gather, slow down and rediscover simple pleasures.

Here, the boundaries between indoors and out blur. What was once a working farm is now a living, breathing homestay, retreat and group event space where connection is cultivated – to food, to nature, to one another.

The Experience

A living expression
of the Plates ethos

More than a destination, Plates Farm is a philosophy made tangible – one that celebrates sustainability, creativity and care in every detail. Whether you come to stay, host, or simply breathe for a while, you’re part of its evolving story.
